Connect AI provider API keys and choose the chat, image and voice models that power AI features for your whole manufacturing team in Qualis.

About this module

Qualis ERP's AI module is the settings page where an organization connects its own AI provider accounts and chooses the models behind the AI Assistant, product image generation and voice. Until it is set up, every AI feature in the ERP stays off. An administrator configures it once, the whole team shares the same setup, and usage is billed by the provider on the organization's own account. The page has five tabs. On API Keys you paste a key for Anthropic, Google, OpenAI or xAI, and a Test button checks it with the provider before you save. Keys are masked while you type. On Models you pick a chat model and an image generation model from cards grouped by provider, each labelled with what it can do (text, code, vision, agentic, image) and marked Stable or Preview. Models from a provider with no key stay greyed out. Configuration holds the image generation switch. Voice turns on the spoken assistant, which needs an OpenAI key, and lets you pick a realtime model and a voice. One Save button applies all tabs, and the settings are stored once per organization, with versions and audit entries. An administrator or IT lead opens this page during first setup, then comes back to swap a model or add a second provider. Users with read access can view the settings, and only users with the update permission can save them. The AI Assistant runs on the chat model and voice settings chosen here. Products Management uses the image model for its AI image button, which creates product pictures from a description. Changes to these settings are recorded in Audit Logs.
