PO Email Notifications

Qualis ERP's PO Email Notifications module lets small and mid-sized manufacturers email the people they choose every time a purchase order is created. It removes the step where a buyer has to remember to tell the warehouse, the accounts team or the purchasing manager that an order went out, which is how deliveries arrive unannounced and supplier invoices land with nobody expecting them. The module has no screens of its own. An organization admin installs it from the Marketplace and fills in a few settings: the recipient addresses, a subject template, whether to copy every organization admin, and whether the email is written in English or French, which also sets the number formatting. The subject template accepts placeholders for the order reference, the supplier name and the total with its currency, and a detail that is unknown simply drops out of the line. The email shows the reference, supplier, total and order date, with a button that opens the purchase order. Delivery runs as a background job, so a short mail server outage is retried instead of losing the message. Typical readers are the purchasing manager who wants to see every commitment the day it is made, a receiving team preparing dock space, and accounts payable getting ready to match supplier invoices. Recipients appear on the To line and copied admins on the Cc line. The module depends on Purchase Orders, which the Marketplace installs automatically if it is missing. It reacts to the purchase order created event, so buyers keep working exactly as before, and its settings can be changed at any time from its Marketplace page.
