Organizations

Every small or mid-sized manufacturer on Qualis ERP works in its own organization, an isolated workspace that holds its records, members, installed modules and settings. A group with several companies or plants can keep each one separate, while people who work across them use a single login. A new organization starts on the sign-up page with an organization name, your first and last name, a work email and a password. Qualis sends a verification link, then prepares the workspace in the background: each module creates its default data, the organization moves from Provisioning to Active, and the first administrator receives a welcome notification. That first user becomes an organization admin with every permission. Each organization has a name, a unique lowercase slug and a logo. Isolation is enforced on every query on the server, not only hidden in the screens, so one organization can never read another's records. Most people never think about it. Those who belong to several organizations choose one at their first sign-in, then switch from the top bar, where an Admin badge marks the workspaces they administer. On switching, the branding, sidebar, data and modules all change to match. A consultant who supports two plants, or a group controller, moves between them without signing out. Organizations is the base the other modules build on. User Management holds the memberships and permissions of each organization, Members invites people into a specific organization, Organization Settings stores its branding and base currency, and Marketplace records which modules it has installed. When platform staff delete an organization, a background job removes its records, files and memberships step by step.
