Refund and Cancellation Policy
How to cancel, how our 30-day money-back guarantee works, and who to contact about a charge.
Last updated:
We would rather refund you than keep money you feel you did not get value from. This page explains exactly how that works, what happens when you cancel, and where to go for help. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Our 30-day money-back guarantee
If Qualis is not right for you, ask us within 30 days of a charge and we will refund that charge in full. You do not need to justify the decision, and we will not put you through a retention call.
This is our own promise, and it is more generous than the baseline our payment partner applies. It is in addition to any statutory rights you have, not instead of them. Where the law gives you more, the law wins: see section 5.
The only things we ask you to keep in mind:
- The guarantee covers subscription charges. Storage overage already used is metered consumption and is not covered, though we will always look at genuine billing mistakes.
- It is a good-faith guarantee, not an ongoing free subscription. Repeatedly subscribing and refunding the same organization is not what it is for.
2. How to request a refund
Either route works, and both reach a human:
- Ask us. Email contact@berrynoon.ma, call +212 660 402 200, or use our contact page. Tell us which charge you mean. We approve guarantee requests and issue the refund through Paddle.
- Ask Paddle directly. Paddle is our Merchant of Record and runs buyer support at paddle.net, where you can look up your order using the email address you paid with.
Approved refunds go back to the payment method you paid with. Paddle processes them within 14 days of approval, and your bank or card issuer may take a few days more to show it.
3. Who processes your refund
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle took your payment and issued your invoice, so Paddle is the party that moves the money back. We decide the refund; Paddle executes it.
Paddle’s own refund policy sets its baseline position, which is narrower than ours. That does not reduce the guarantee in section 1: Paddle’s policy provides that where a supplier gives you additional rights, the highest level of rights applies. Our 30-day guarantee is exactly that.
4. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, with no notice period and no exit fee. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, so you keep full access until then.
After that, your organization moves to Qualis Start, our free plan. It is not closed and your records are not deleted. You keep access to your account and can export your data at any time. See our Terms for what the free plan includes.
Cancelling is not the same as a refund. Cancelling stops future charges; a refund returns a charge already made. If you want both, say so and we will handle both.
5. Your statutory rights
Consumer law in your country may give you a right to withdraw from a purchase independently of anything on this page. In the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the UK, that is generally a 14-day withdrawal right. Some other countries provide shorter windows.
One thing worth knowing: statutory withdrawal rights for digital services can be reduced or lost once you start using the service, which for software you log into immediately can mean straight away. That is precisely why we publish the 30-day guarantee in section 1: it is simpler, longer, and does not depend on whether you used Qualis.
To exercise a statutory right specifically, contact Paddle at paddle.net, since Paddle is the seller of record, or contact us and we will pass it on. Nothing on this page limits rights you have under mandatory law.
6. Storage and other metered charges
File storage above your plan’s included allowance is billed per GB per month based on what you actually stored. Because it reflects consumption that already happened, it is not covered by the money-back guarantee. If you think a storage charge is wrong, tell us: we will check the underlying usage records and correct it if we got it wrong.
7. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, tell us at contact@berrynoon.ma or +212 660 402 200 and we will handle it to these timescales:
- Acknowledgement within 1 business day, confirming we have your complaint and who is dealing with it.
- Resolution or a substantive update within 5 business days. If it needs longer, we will tell you why and give you a date.
- A final written answer within 20 business days.
If the complaint is about the payment or the invoice rather than the service, Paddle’s buyer support at paddle.net can also help, as Paddle is the seller of record. If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve things between us, you keep every right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in, including the right to bring the matter before the competent court.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version in force when you were charged is the one that applies to that charge, and the “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. We will not reduce the 30-day guarantee for a charge you have already made.
