Teams
Admin
Group users into teams that share permissions, name leaders, members and viewers, and send automatic alerts when orders or NCRs change status.
About this module
In Qualis ERP, small and mid-sized manufacturers group the people who work together into teams, such as the quality team or the purchasing desk, so access and alerts are set once for the group instead of person by person. When a team's permissions change, every member's access changes with it. A team has a name, an automatically generated code, a description, a color, an icon and an active switch. Each member holds a role: Leader, Member or Viewer. The role does not change what someone can do with data, because every member gets the team's permissions, but it decides who takes part in approvals and who receives leader-only notices. Team permissions add to a person's own permissions and never take any away. Notification rules alert all members or leaders only when a record is created or changes status, with optional conditions on the previous and new status or on a field value compared to a threshold, plus a priority and a custom message. Rules cover records such as purchase orders, sales orders, non-conformance reports, CAPAs, inspections, scrap orders, manufacturing orders and quotations. Administrators set up teams when they bring a department into Qualis. A quality lead, for example, is notified the moment a non-conformance report moves to a new status. Each team has a detail page, a version history and a trash with restore. Teams depends on User Management for its members and on Notifications to deliver alerts. Members can place new people into teams as their invitation is accepted, Approval Workflows can name a team as the approvers of a step, and each user profile lists the teams that person belongs to.
