Cycle Counts

Qualis ERP's Cycle Counts module lets small and mid-sized manufacturers schedule recurring inventory counts for each storage location, so stock accuracy is checked all year on a steady rhythm instead of in one shutdown count at year end. Busy or high value areas get counted often, quiet areas less often, and nobody has to remember which shelf is due. Each schedule names one physical location, a priority (low, medium, high or critical), a frequency in days (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually or custom), an optional assigned user and a product scope: all products at the location, or a specific list. Customer and vendor sites cannot be counted. Qualis assigns a reference and works out the next count date from the last count plus the frequency. A schedule is active, paused or completed, and a paused schedule never shows as overdue. The physical count is recorded as an inventory adjustment linked to the schedule. When that adjustment is applied, the schedule updates its last count date, count tally, last adjustment and next due date on its own. The same adjustment never counts twice. Warehouse supervisors watch the headline cards: active schedules, overdue counts, counts due this week and the on-time rate. An overdue schedule shows a red banner, and a scheduled job notifies the assigned user, or the creator when nobody is assigned. Every change is kept in version history and can be restored. Cycle Counts depends on Storage Locations and Products. Counts are recorded through Inventory Adjustments, which correct Inventory Levels and write the matching entries in Stock Moves.
