Inventory Adjustments

Qualis ERP's Inventory Adjustments module lets small and mid-sized manufacturers correct the on hand quantity of one product at one storage location, with a mandatory reason, when the system and the shelf disagree. Damaged parts, a box nobody logged, a miscount: each becomes a traceable correction instead of a silent overwrite. You pick the product and the location, and Qualis fills in the current on hand quantity. Enter a positive quantity to add stock or a negative one to remove it, choose a reason code (damage, shrinkage, found stock, recount correction, data entry error, return, production scrap, quality rejection, expiry or other) and add notes. The form previews the result before you apply it. On apply, Qualis assigns a reference, updates stock immediately and writes a matching stock move. Serial-tracked products take the exact serial numbers concerned. An adjustment on a virtual location, such as a customer or vendor site, is recorded without changing on hand stock. The quantities of an applied adjustment are never edited. A mistake is undone with Reverse, which creates the opposite stock move, sets the status to Reversed and keeps both entries on record. Several adjustments can be reversed at once. When your organization requires approval for stock adjustments, the reversal waits for the approver. Storekeepers and inventory controllers use it after a count, a breakage or a quality decision. Headline cards show adjustments today and this week, total gains and total losses. Each adjustment creates a move in Stock Moves and changes Inventory Levels. It uses Products and Storage Locations, Lots / Serial Numbers for tracked stock, and an adjustment linked to a Cycle Counts schedule records the count on it.
