Setup

Setup in Qualis ERP is the first-run wizard that records who your organization is, so the ERP starts configured for your size and country instead of as a blank system. A five person workshop and a two hundred person plant need different amounts of paperwork, and this is where Qualis learns which one you are. The wizard has up to four steps. Your team asks how many people work here: On my own, Small team (2 to 20), Growing company (21 to 100) or Large operation (more than 100). The answer switches on a matching set of modules, and that set only ever grows. Region sets the country, guessed from where you connect, the interface language and the base currency, which stays changeable until your first order or invoice exists. Company, shown when your organization can invoice customers, collects the legal name, legal form, share capital, phone, the identifiers your country requires, the registered address, and an IBAN and BIC checked before saving. Finish shows a summary of what was saved. The first administrator sees the wizard right after sign-up. Members who sign in before setup is complete see a notice that an administrator is still setting things up, and they can keep working. Setup runs once. Opening it again shows that it is already done and points to Organization Settings. Answers are stored in Organization Settings, where they can be changed at any time. The modules chosen for your team size are installed through Marketplace, and the company details become the seller identity that Invoicing prints on customer documents. If the base currency you pick was not yet in use on the platform, Setup switches it on in Currencies.
