Platform Billing

Platform Billing in Qualis ERP is the page where an organization manages its own subscription to Qualis: which plan it is on, how many seats it uses, how much storage it has, and what it has already paid. There are two plans, Qualis Start and Qualis Complete, and Qualis Complete includes every module. Seats come in two classes: office seats, with full ERP access for planning, purchasing, quality, finance and management, and operator seats for shop floor work. Every office seat includes two operator seats. Seats are counted per membership and follow your members, so changing someone's seat on the Users page updates the subscription quantity. The billing page shows the plan and its status (Active, Payment due, Suspended or Canceled), the renewal or cancellation date, the seat breakdown, storage used against the allowance, and a payment history with a link to each invoice. Admins can upgrade through a secure checkout run by Paddle, update the payment method in Paddle's portal, switch between monthly and yearly billing, cancel at the end of the period, or resume a scheduled cancellation. Organization admins manage the subscription, and other members need the billing permission to view it. If a payment fails, an amber banner appears during the grace period. If it is not fixed, the organization is suspended and modules outside the plan lock, but sign-in, data, core features and the billing page keep working. A successful payment restores everything. Platform Billing reads seat classes from User Management and storage usage from Storage & Billing. Subscription events such as payment due, suspension, reactivation and cancellation reach administrators through Notifications and are kept in Audit Logs. Cancelling never deletes a record.
