AI Assistant

For small and mid-sized manufacturers, the AI Assistant in Qualis ERP is a chat panel, available from any page, where you ask for things in plain language and the assistant works with your product data for you. It saves the clicks needed to look up a part or complete a long product form. You open it with the robot icon in the top bar or with Ctrl+Shift+A. The assistant can search the product catalog and show a product's details, create or update a product, fill a product form field by field across its purchase, inventory, sales and shipping sections, and look up the right unit of measure, supplier or client while doing so. It can also summarize and analyze products, return product statistics with a simple chart, produce a CSV export and take you to the right page. Each action it performs appears as a small card, so you always see what it did on your behalf. Conversations are saved to your own account, listed by date in full-screen mode, and can be deleted one at a time or all at once. With voice switched on, you can speak to it and hear it answer. Product engineers, buyers and planners who maintain the item master use it most. A typical moment: asking it to create a new part from a short description, then checking the filled form before saving. It runs on the provider, key and chat model configured in the AI module, and voice uses the OpenAI settings defined there. Product actions go through Products Management, and lookups read Units of Measure, Suppliers Management and Clients Management. Access to the assistant itself is controlled by its own permissions.
