Replenishment Rules

Qualis ERP's Replenishment Rules module lets small and mid-sized manufacturers set reorder points per product and location, so stock is refilled before it runs out instead of when someone notices an empty bin. Each rule is a standing instruction: how low stock may fall, how much to bring back, and where the new stock comes from. One rule watches one product at one location, and only one rule may exist per pair. The route is Buy from a preferred supplier, Transfer from a source location, or Make for products manufactured in house. The strategy is Min/Max, which refills up to a target quantity, or Fixed Qty, which orders a set amount each time. Rules also carry a safety stock, a lead time override and an order multiple that rounds every order up to a pack size. The Replenishment Report compares current stock and incoming supply against every active rule, then suggests an order quantity with a critical, warning or healthy flag, without creating anything. The engine runs on a schedule or on demand. When automatic ordering is on, it groups Buy needs into one draft purchase order per supplier and warehouse, executes Transfers as stock moves and creates planned manufacturing orders for Make rules. With it off, a run only reports. Buyers and planners use the report each morning to see what needs ordering, and adjust thresholds as demand changes. Default settings cover route, evaluation frequency, horizon and order multiple. Rules depend on Products, Storage Locations and Suppliers Management. They read stock from Inventory Levels, draft orders in Purchase Orders, move stock through Stock Moves and raise planned orders in Manufacturing Orders.
