Stock Moves

Qualis ERP's Stock Moves module gives small and mid-sized manufacturers an immutable ledger of every quantity that enters, leaves or moves inside their warehouses. When a stock figure looks wrong, this is where you find out what happened, when, by whom, and because of which document. Only relocations between two locations are entered by hand. The rest are created when a purchase order is received, a sales order is delivered, an adjustment is applied, a scrap order is executed, or a manufacturing order consumes materials and receives finished goods. Each move records its type (receipt, delivery, relocation, transfer, adjustment, scrap, consumption, production receipt, byproduct receipt or maintenance consumption), the product, the lot or serial number, the from and to locations, the quantity and unit, who did it and when. A move can never be edited or deleted. A correction creates a counter move, and the original is marked as reverted and linked to it. The ledger also guards the stock. A tracked product cannot move without its lot or serial number, a serial number moves one unit at a time and cannot come in again while it is still in stock, a quarantined or expired lot cannot be delivered or issued to production, and stock in a quality-hold bin cannot be shipped or consumed. Inventory controllers and auditors use the log to explain a discrepancy: filter by product, location, type, date or reverted status, then click through to the document behind each move. Selected moves export to CSV. Stock Moves feeds Inventory Levels, which recalculates quantities from every move. It depends on Products and Storage Locations, and uses Lots / Serial Numbers for tracked items.
