Storage & Billing in Qualis ERP shows how much file storage your organization uses and what happens when it reaches its quota. Manufacturing records attract files, such as drawings, certificates, inspection photos and supplier documents, and this module makes that volume visible before it becomes a surprise. Every upload is counted, whether it lands in Document Management, as an attachment on any record, or as an import or export file. The Storage page shows the space used against the included quota, the number of files and the percentage used, along with a custom quota when one has been set for your organization. Files in the trash still count until they are permanently deleted. A job captures a usage snapshot every day, which feeds a daily history table and a current month view with overage to date and a projection for the month. Metered overage is a single switch. When it is off, uploads stop at the quota. When it is on, uploads continue and storage above the quota is billed per GB-month, measured daily. Organization admins decide whether metered overage is on, and each change asks for confirmation first. Anyone with the storage permission can check usage, for example before moving a large archive of documents into Qualis or after a busy audit period that added many photos. When usage crosses 80% or 100% of the quota, Notifications alerts the organization's administrators, and the alert re-arms once usage drops again. Storage & Billing also feeds the storage card on the Platform Billing page, where each paid seat adds to the allowance, and changes to the overage setting are recorded in Audit Logs.
