Maintenance

Qualis ERP's Maintenance module is a CMMS for small and mid-sized manufacturers that keeps a record of every machine, tool and facility they look after, turns problem reports from the floor into maintenance orders, and raises routine servicing before equipment breaks. It shows which machine costs the most and whether preventive work really gets done. Assets nest inside each other, from a line down to a spindle, with criticality, warranty and calibration dates. Anyone can report a problem in one line. The planner triages it, then rejects it with a reason or converts it into a maintenance order. A technician starts the order, works through the procedure checklist, then completes it. Corrective orders need a problem, cause and remedy code before they can close. PM plans raise orders by calendar, by meter usage or by whichever comes first. Operators report issues from the line, technicians open My work each morning to see their assigned and overdue jobs, and the maintenance manager reads the analytics page for MTTR, mean down time, MTBF, availability, PM compliance and the assets causing the most downtime. Maintenance links each asset to its machine or tooling in Work Centers. A breakdown marks the machine down until the repair ends, and planned work can close a work center on the work calendar so production is not scheduled into a shutdown. Machine hour meters advance when work orders complete in Manufacturing Orders. Spare parts come from Products Management and leave stock as Stock Moves, and outside services are bought through Purchase Orders, whose receipt records the actual vendor cost on the order. The reporter is notified when the work is done.
