Tasks

Tasks gives small and mid-sized manufacturers a shared to-do list in Qualis ERP for work that does not fit in a production or purchase order: calibrate the torque wrenches, call a supplier about a late batch, update a control plan after a non-conformance. Without it, those jobs live on whiteboards and sticky notes, and nobody sees which ones slipped. A task needs only a title. It can also carry a description, a status (backlog, to do, in progress, done or archived), a priority from critical to low, a due date, one or more assignees, coloured labels, attachments and notes. Each task gets a number such as TSK-0046. Dropping a card in Done records the completion time, and a task past its due date shows in red with an overdue banner. Every change is kept as a version you can view and restore, and a deleted task goes to the trash, from where it can be brought back. Supervisors, quality engineers and buyers open the Kanban board each morning and drag work between columns, or switch to the table to sort and filter by priority, due date, My tasks or Created by me. Comments keep the discussion next to the work, and assignees are notified when they receive a task or when its status changes. A task can link to records from other modules, such as Products Management, Clients Management, Suppliers Management, Non-Conformance Reports, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Scrap Orders, Inspections, CAPA, Warehouses, Stock Moves, Inventory Adjustments, Packages, Quotations and the leads and opportunities of the CRM pipeline. Attachments are stored through Document Management.
